A Review of IoT in Education: Benefits and Challenges

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) has emerged as a new technology with the aim of
improving diverse sectors. Due to the ubiquity of IoT devices, academic
institutions and schools are seeking to incorporate IoT into education
activities. The goal of this paper is to review the current state-of-the-art in
order to explore the revolution that has been occurred since the
incorporation of IoT in education. Besides, the possible opportunities that
could be gained for students, instructors, and admins from the adaption of
IoT in the educational process are classified.Keywords:
